Xiaoxing Fang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Québec at the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS). She received her Bachelor degree in automation in 2002, her Master degree in Navigation, Guidance and Control (2003-2006) and her Ph.D. in Navigation, Guidance and Control (2009-2016) from Beihang University (China). At the same time, she worked as an engineer of GNC in Research Institute of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in Beihang University (2002 -2015), which brings her years of design and development experiences in aerospace engineering, especially in flight management system, flight control law and flight simulation system of UAVs. During her Ph.D., her research focused on the Guidance and Control solutions to realize autonomous unpowered approach and landing of rotor-wing compound aircraft, including system architecture based on energy management, onboard trajectory generation, and guidance and control algorithm. Since 2017, she works in the LASSENA laboratory.
